By turns an installation, performance, episodic series, and film, Saison Complète is an atypical, evolving work that feels like a TV show, an exhibition, a film set, and an artist residency all in one! Initially an installation, the work features an assembly of machines and kinetic sculptures that grind, wear down, and sift through material, transforming the space they inhabit day by day.
Across four distinct episodes, it then takes on the guise of a filmed performance: six performers occupy the environment, coexist with the objects, and engage in ritualistic and poetic gestures. Punctuated by musical and sound interventions, this shifting occupation is captured by mechanized camera systems. As an epilogue, the collected fragments and footage are assembled into a unique cinematic work, serving as a testament to this epic journey.
